Good evening Hoover Parents, Students, and Staff.
As the weather gets warmer, students will start wearing cooler clothes. Please remember that shorts and skirts should be no shorter than your student's longest fingertip.
Tops that are too short, show the stomach, have thin straps, or show cleavage are not allowed.
If your student wears sandals, please remember that these shoes are not good for Physical Education (P.E.).
When students are sent to the office for breaking the dress code, they will call home and ask for a change of clothes.
The easiest way to avoid dress code problems is to check your students before they leave for school.
Hoover will also send a parent survey for the 2026-2027 school year. We will ask for your ideas about returning to a school with uniforms. This would start with grades K-3, and one more grade would be added each year after that.
