🌳 Lunch on the Lawn – September 18 🌳

Hoover families are invited to join their student for Lunch on the Lawn during their regularly scheduled lunch time!
Students will enjoy 30 minutes of lunch with their families before returning to recess and completing the remainder of their school day.
📝 Permission slips must be returned to your child’s teacher by September 17 so teachers can prepare an attendance list. Only students with a family member attending should return a permission slip.
🍽️ Food Reminder
Due to the number of visitors expected on campus, the front office will not accept food deliveries or food drop-offs on the day of the event. If you plan to bring outside food, please bring it with you when you arrive.
⏰ Students Should Remain at School
Following lunch, students are expected to return to class and remain at school for the full instructional day. Please do not check your student out early after the event. A high number of early dismissals disrupts instruction and may affect our ability to continue offering events like this in the future.
🧼 Help Us Stock Hoover’s Hygiene Closet! 🪥
Families attending Lunch on the Lawn are invited to bring a new, unopened hygiene item to support Hoover students and families in need.
Suggested donations include deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, feminine hygiene products, and other personal-care essentials.
Donations are completely optional, but every item helps a Hoover student feel clean, confident, and ready to learn. 💙💛
