Hello Hoover Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians,
Hoover needs to fill five spots on our School Site Council (SSC). School Site Councils (SSC) are required by rules from the state and the federal government. You can become a member of the School Site Council.

The School Site Council (SSC) represents parents, students, community members, and school staff in school leadership. SSC meetings usually happen once a month. The SSC is in charge of:
  1. Create, use, watch, check, and approve the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
  2. Find resources to help with SPSA plans.
  3. Look at how students are doing to see what they need.
  4. Look at and change the Title I Parent Involvement Policy and School-Parent Compact.
The School Site Council (SSC) meets once a month on Mondays. We can meet in person or on ZOOM. This lets parents choose a time that works for them. Once the group is made, we can pick a meeting time that works for everyone.
You can print election forms from the post or get them at the office and ELOP program.
Please help our school support our students. You are very important for our students to do well and for building our community.
