School Site Council (SSC)

Hoover needs to fill five spots on our School Site Council (SSC). School Site Councils (SSC) are required by rules from the state and the federal government. You can become a member of the School Site Council.
The School Site Council (SSC) represents parents, students, community members, and school staff in school leadership. SSC meetings usually happen once a month. The SSC is in charge of:
- Create, use, watch, check, and approve the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
- Find resources to help with SPSA plans.
- Look at how students are doing to see what they need.
- Look at and change the Title I Parent Involvement Policy and School-Parent Compact.
You can print election forms from the post or get them at the office and ELOP program.
Please help our school support our students. You are very important for our students to do well and for building our community.
